It’s ironic that a security firm with the tagline “Threats never sleep” apparently is asleep at the wheel when it comes to paying taxes and filing corporate reports. St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner seems to have also been also asleep at the wheel for not doing her due diligence before hiring this Michigan based firm. A licensed St. Louis private investigator has filed a formal complaint with Division of Professional Registration:
The City of St. Louis Circuit Attorney is paying thousands of dollars to unlicensed investigators. The Circuit Attorney entered into a contract with Enterra, LLC “to conduct an independent investigation into potential criminal (and civil) liability of the Governor under the guidance of the CAO provide, [sic] and to provide such litigation support (including expert testimony) as may be requested by CAO in connection with [a criminal investigation of Governor Eric Greitens].” Enterra is receiving $250 an hour, plus expenses, for each individual working on the investigation. Enterra already received a $10,000 retainer, and has billed over $6,000. Enterra is violating Section 324.1104(2) by engaging in business in Missouri as a private investigator agency without a license. The reported agreement between the Circuit Attorney’s Office and Enterra, LLC states that “Enterra is a professional independent contractor and not an employee or agent of CAO, or any affiliated entities.” Read more….

STL Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner/ William D. Tisaby
Because we know the St. Louis Post Dispatch and the rest of the Missouri lamestream media have no interest in doing any real journalism regarding St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner’s investigation of Governor Greiten’s, we’ve decided to do a little investigating ourselves – specifically into the Michigan based private investigation firm Gardner. According to The St. Louis Record, a respected and non partisan legal publication, the firm Gardner hired is delinquent in filng its corporate paperwork and is delinquent in paying its corporate taxes:
Enterra LLC, the company charging Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner $250 an hour to investigate Gov. Eric Greitens, hasn’t filed annual reports or anything else in the state where it organized or the state where it operates. According to the Secretary of State in Delaware, Enterra LLC was delinquent in taxes as of March 8. Spokesman for the Delaware Secretary of State’s office, Doug Denison, stated that its office would void Enterra on June 1, unless it paid taxes and penalties. Enterra organized in Delaware on Aug. 22, 2016, under the name Global Alliance of Security Professionals. Michael Romaya of Novi, Mich., signed as organizer and authorized agent.
He applied to Michigan for a business certificate the next day, identifying the business as security consulting services. Michigan issued a certificate on Aug. 25, 2016. On Sept. 19, 2016, Romaya changed the name to Enterra in Delaware and amended his certificate in Michigan. Neither state has heard from Enterra since. The company’s website identifies William D. Tisaby as chief executive. He organized Tisaby and Associates in Michigan in 2010, and filed nothing further. In 2015, state regulators classified the business as not in good standing. Read more…
The attorney who filed the paperwork for the Enterra LLC is a Michael Romaya. According to his bio,“Romaya represents lenders and borrowers in a wide variety of commercial financial transactions..His practice also fouses on workouts and restructuring of troubled credits.” It is indeed troubling that a firm so irresponsible that it refuses to file its corporate paperwork and pay it’s taxes is leading the investigation into the Governor!
A tragic turn of events with the apparent suicide of former St. Louis area State Representative Keith English in Jefferson City yesterday. English was highly respected on both sides of the aisle for standing up for what he believed in even if it went against his own Party. Just another sad reminder that people are hurting and that we should let family, friends and acquaintances know we are always there for them.
Wish I could have talked to him 12 hours ago. The blink of an eye. He was a friend, a good man and brought value to this world. Our differences in labor brought us friendship, trust, understanding and respect. RIP @keithenglishmo we’ll all miss you.
Saddened that Keith English, former representative, #moleg colleague, & friend, has left us too early. RIP, friend. My condolences, thoughts, & prayers go out to his family.
African American clergy, community activists and local politicians held a press conference Monday on the steps of the Mel Carnahan Courthouse in support of St. Louis Circuit attorney Kim Gardner aganst attacks that her filing of crimminal charges against Gov. Eric Greitens was politically motivated. The press conference initially focused on percieved attacks on the circuit attorney by the Governor and his supporters. The event quickly turned into a Black Lives Matter themed gripe session on the perceived unfairness of the justice system towards African Americans, the poor and other minorities. At one point, Governor Greitens was called a racist without the offering of any proof to back up the claim and hints of further protests now that “spring is coming.”
According to the St. Louis Post Dispatch, at least thirteen GOP House members have signed a petition asking for the Governor’s resignation but the names so far won’t be released publicly.
“The reason is they are afraid of retribution,” Rep. Shamed Dogan, R-Ballwin, said of some of the members who signed the letter. Dogan was one of the members who told reporters Greitens should resign on Monday. Rep. Marsha Haefner, R-Oakville, was the other House Republican to appear before journalists. She said Wednesday that she didn’t have a copy.
In a surprising show of bi-partisanship and “fairness’ last week, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver voted no during a vaite engineered by House Democrats to impach the president.
“I realize that Trump’s presidency generates anger,” the Missouri Democrat said in a statement. “I will remind folk that there is only one letter of the alphabet that separates anger from danger. My vote … was an issue of fairness.”
Cleaver said he would re-examine his position once Special Counsel Robert Mueller completes his investigation of the president and his associates. Read more…
Term limited state Senator Bob Dixon has thrown out a lifeline to his embattled senate colleague Maria Chappelle Nadal. Citing Jesus and the great Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius. Senator Dixon believes it is hypocritical and shows a lack of compassion to throw out a public official who advocates for the assassination of the president of the United States.
“The wise Emperor of Rome, Marcus Aurelius, once cautioned, ‘Whenever you are about to find fault with someone, ask yourself the following question: What fault of mine most nearly resembles the one I am about to criticize?”
“One hundred and fifty years before, a man from Galilee instructed an angry crowd to commence the stoning of a woman who had broken the ancient law, saying, ‘Whomever among you who has not sinned cast the first stone.’ A few moments, later he turned to her and said, ‘Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?’”
Senator Chappelle Nadal has apologized and has been forgiven by many BUT there are still consequences for her actions and she should be expelled from the state senate. Every leader from both sides of the aisle, and scores of her legislative collegaues from both sides of the aisle, have condemmed Senator Chappelle-Nadal – except one notable exception – Rep. Mark Matthieson. Why is that? Rep. Mathiessen was a big supporter of Chappelle Nadal’s ill fated Bridgeton buyout plan.
Well, we have another example of political Foot-In-Mouth disease, this time from the Republican side of the Missouri legislative chamber. Mo state Rep. Warren Love has created a firestorm with his call on (you guessed it) Facebook for the “lynching” of vandals who recently poured paint on a Confederate monument in his district.
“This is totally against the law,” Love wrote. “I hope they are found & hung from a tall tree with a long rope.”
Of course after this controversy erupted and spread like a prarie fire, Rep. Love toned down his rhetoric and said he was in fact NOT calling for anyone to be lynched for the offense.
“Oh no,” he said. “Hell no!” “That was an exaggerated statement that, you know, a lot of times is used in the western world when somebody does a crime or commits theft. … That’s just a western term and I’m very much a western man. … You know, I wear a coat. You know, I dress western. And, you know, I’m the cowboy of the Capitol. “I guess I could’ve put on there that, you know, they were yellow-bellied, low-life or whatever.”
Like most people haven’t spent a lot of time around African Americans, Rep. Love resorted to the old stand by line of “Some of my best friends are Black – even if I only see them five months out of the year and during an occassional soft ball game!”
“Listen, I’ve got good friends in the Capitol,” Love said. “Me and Tommie Pierson (a black St. Louis County Democrat) was co-captains of a softball team. And you can ask anybody in that Capitol. I probably have a better relationship with the minorities than anybody up there at the Legislature. I play softball with them, I’m good friends with them. I, you know, I sit on the same side of the aisle with them and they’re on my softball team,” Love said. “I am definitely not that word,” Love said of the word “racist.” I don’t even like to use that word.”Read more…
It looks like the only African American Republican member of the legislature won’t be playing softball with Rep. Love any time soon.
Vandalizing property is wrong, but hoping for people to be hung/lynched over it?? Way over the line!! What is wrong with us #moleg? pic.twitter.com/b0ulohvatQ
