After dismal performances in the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire Primary, former Vice President Joe Biden’s presidential campaign is on life support. Biden is looking to the South Carolina Democratic Primary, and its sizeable number of Black voters, to be the so called firewall that saves his campaign.

Biden, who was once polling at 49% nationally among African Americans, has dropped down to 27% in the latest polling. One time Republican, turned Independent turned Democrat, ‘Billionaire’ Michael Bloomberg, has cut considerably into that support with massive ad spending.

Being the ever loyal Democrat Establishment foot soldier, back bencher and obscure Kansas City Congressman Emanuel Cleaver flew to South Carolina last Weekend to help his pal out with Black voters.

“ Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, a Biden backer and a Missouri Democrat, campaigned for the former vice president last weekend in South Carolina and reported his support remains strong among black voters. I was on the ground, and I went to six different cities,” Cleaver told the Washington Examiner. “People were coming up to me, in church, after church, telling me, ‘Don’t worry. We are with you.’”

Cleaver once said loyalty trumps race and he’s proven his loyalty time and time again to the old boy Democrat Establishment, Cleaver said in 2011 if former President Obama weren’t Black, the Congressional Black Caucus would be marching on the White House.
