The Teapot Calling the Kettle Black (no pun intended)

April 14th, 2009 by mopns · No Comments

As you’ve probably heard by now, longtime St. Louis Post Dispatch columnist Sylvester Brown was let go yesterday for allegedly violating the paper’s “ethics” policy, a policy apparently designed to protect the paper’s independence and credibility. Now that you’ve picked yourself off the floor, let’s examine this a little more closely. Do you also find it ironic that an organization that long ago forfeited it’s journalistic integrity by being a predictable shill for Democrats and liberalism, has the audacity to talk about ethics????

This situation stinks all the way to high heaven with allegations of racism and intimidation by Mayor Slay and his staff. Put another nail in the coffin of mainstream journalism and specifically the Post Dispatch Disgrace. Long live the Internets!

Yeah this is a good one. Ethics from Post? That’s news.

Never a big fan of Mr Brown. Interesting, that like Ms O’Brien above: “Ethics from the Post? That’s news.” I had about as much fun reading Eastern European and Mainland Chinese papers years ago that I have had reading the “Post”!
