As he campaigns for Missouri state treasurer, Arnold Mayor Mark Powell is calling on current State Treasurer Sarah Steelman to return $60,000 of her campaign funds.

“I think it would be appropriate that those amounts be refunded,” Powell said.

Among the contributions Powell wants to see refunded are $20,000 from Central Bancompany and $5,000 from Central Bancompany Political Action Committee (PAC). The bank and its PAC have daily business transactions with the state of Missouri and Steelman’s Office. Read more…
