Missouri State Treasurer Sarah Steelman’s office said recently that MOST, Missouri’s 529 College Savings Plan, was ranked by Money Magazine as of the best 529 plans in the nation.

Money Magazine reviewed 70 of the 85 plans that are currently available, and the MOST Plan was listed among an elite group of the nation’s 27 best 529 plans.

The plan was originally launched in November 1999 to provide a tax-advantaged way for families to save for higher education expenses.
