This will be our first and last post regarding Congressman Lacy Clay’s pending divorce. We’ve certainly leveled our fair share of criticism at the hapless lawmaker, but delving into the tawdry tabloid journalism that the Post Dispatch wants to engage in is somewhere we’re just not going to go.
Is becoming the local version of the National Enquirer the Post Dispatch’s new business plan to stay viable ? These people are absolutely pathetic! They ignore money laundering, influence peddling, and the fact that our courts are being run by the trial bar, but they bombard us for two days with this trash! What’s even worse is that they’re being played like a fiddle by Clay’s wife and attorney by allowing them to try the case in public. SUCKERS!

Um, you don’t know who cares about Clay’s divorce proceedings? There are a few people in Jefferson City (and a few that have since left), that probably care…
He might be untouchable in his seat, because no matter what disgusting things he does, he will be re-elected. However, things that may come up may affect other’s electability!

You should care. He makes your state look bad electing this low life time and time again.
By the way, He still hasn’t talked to his kids. What a loser and most definitely in 2010.
