Many Missouri Democrats have been taking a walk lately when faced with tough votes. You see, Democrats want to avoid talking about important issues like socialized medicine, a balanced budget, and the state’s overwhelming opposition to Cap and Trade.
Yesterday, another Democrat state representative took a walk when it came time to discuss an important bill. Representative Jeff Roorda actually went and hid when a vote was called on the House Committee Substitute to HJR48, HJR50, and HJR57, a set of bills that would put a constitutional amendment on the ballot that would keep anyone from being forced to participate in any health care system that they do not want to be in by banning any fines levied on non-participants. Instead of staying in the chamber and admitting that he is in favor of the Democrat’s socialized medicine system, Roorda chose to avoid voting on the bill altogether. It passed 113 to 40, an expression of the state’s overwhelming opposition to the health care proposal that Democrats are trying to force on the nation.
We call on Roorda to return his per diem for Wednesday since he was too scared to vote. The people deserve better from representatives politicians like Roorda.

This guy is a LOSER. He struts around the floor of the House, like a Banty Rooster (this term is used to describe the behavior of some short men who may tend to walk with a swagger and adopt a somewhat exaggerated male posture). I feel very comfortable calling this coward a Banty Rooster, because I watched him strut around the House all day, yesterday. Until, of course, it came time to vote.
