And the Love Affair Continues

“In a legislative session that will likely be defined by budget restraints and deep cuts, the DWI crackdown unveiled last week is just the type of bill that Gov. Jay Nixon could potentially score as a win come May.”

NIXON’S WEEK 48 GRADE: B +

We sure hope the Governor is pushing his new initiative because he believes in it, not because he’s trying to “score” cheap political points and score a public relations victory. Is David Cantanese a journalist here or a political adviser?

As a political adviser, we’re surprised he missed the irony of our new tourism director’s brushes with the law and her refusals (with an ‘s’) to take a breathalyzer after being pulled over for “erratic driving.” Doesn’t this guy seem a little TOO invested in the success of Governor Nixon to be a credible source for objective news?
