It’s a startling admission when a campaign manager admits that they did a poor job of introducing their candidate to the electorate. It’s especially startling when the campaign manager guest hosted for a week on St. Louis’ 50,000 watt blowtorch KMOX. What was he doing, giving dating advice while he was on the air?
Hulshof campaign manager John Hancock said last night in this video that he wished “people got to know him [Hulshof] a little better.” The reporter taking the video must have felt sorry for Mr. Hancock – due to the drubbing they were about to get – because he introduced the video by saying he was at “Governor Hulshof’s” campaign watch.

This is oh so true. The boots on the ground begged the campaign over and over for Hulshofs appearance out in the rural areas. They were totally ignored. The campaign provided little direction and assistance and was reflected in the vote.
