Blunt Calls Jackson’s Bluff; Decides Not to Run Against Blunt

October 11th, 2007 by mopns · No Comments

Our guest contributor Raymond Fitzgerald hit the nail right on the head yesterday. Fitzgerald opined on this site that Col. Jack Jackson was not going to commit political suicide and challenge Governor Blunt next year. He speculated that Jackson merely wanted a face to face meeting with the Governor to gauge his reaction to a possible Jackson candidacy.

“I believe Jackson’s poll was not as rosy as he had hoped. I also believe that Jackson, in this political poker game with the Governor, just had his bluff called.”

Good move Jack!
