Love your site! I think you are performing a great service for Missourians and political junkees like myself. I work closely within the party, so please don’t mention my name. Many of us are perplexed that Jack Jackson is exploring the possibility of running against Matt next year. It is obvious that he still must be harboring sour grapes over losing the state auditor’s race last year.

What is equally more perplexing is that the poll he’s commissioned is supposedly being performed by Survey Saint Louis, LLC, the firm owned by Patrick Werner (Cong. Akin’s District Director) and Tom Smith (Assistant to newly elected Senator Tom Dempsey.) It makes you wonder if Congressman Akin and Senator Dempsey are also looking for a “more conservative” alternative to Matt Blunt. What do you think? Keep up the good work!

Perhpas the Governor should learn to stay out of contested races within his party. Whether Jack Jackson runs or not the Governor deserves the headache for not staying out of that race.
