Missouri’s Democrat “Nutroots” Have it Wrong…..Again!

There are two definitions of insanity: 1.) Doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results. 2.) Repeating a lie over and over to yourself until you start to actually believe it’s true. It seems our friends over at Blog CCP are suffering from the second definition. Ok, we’ll bite and double your hits to your site today. For the second time in as many weeks, we have to once again dispel the false information being put out by Democrat partisans who operate fringe blogs.

No, we’re not a “Texas organization” funded by a wealthy Texan named Bob Perry. In fact, since I’m attending law school in New Orleans – and so you can have at least one “fact” correct – we suggest you say we’re a Louisiana organization now. It’ll be the first truthful thing you’ve written about the Missouri Political News Service since you’ve started your “investigation” of us.

No, I’m not receiving – nor have I ever received – any compensation from anyone associated with the swift boat veterans. No, I’m not receiving compensation from Kansas City political consultant Jeff Roe. For the record, I have never met, spoken or even e-mailed the man! Because Roe links to our site, and several others for that matter, does this mean he owns their sites too? As for the Adam Smith Foundation ad. Is this ASF fixation simple jealousy because someone believes our site is worthy of advertising on? Hey Stephen, drop us a line and we’ll send you our ad rates.

As was pointed out by commenters on our last post on this matter, your logic and circumstantial “evidence” is flawed. The sad thing is that Blog CCP’s owner Stephen Bough is an attorney who should know better than trying to convict someone on what he’s presented. This probably explains why he chases ambulances instead of representing criminal defendants.

Scooter – what’s your rates? Tell us about the in depth investigation you did to reveal that I am the owner of the CCP blog? Missouri Ethics Commission? Secretary of State?
