Called “An Evening with Artur Davis” the former Democratic congressman, who announced in May that he was switching parties, spoke to a full room of 80 Black Conservatives. Also speaking that night was Florida Congressman Allen West.

“I am so excited that Congressmen Davis and West, joined our reception in Washington. I highly admire these great men and am honored they have chosen to support Move-On-Up.org’s important mission,” said Move-On-Up.org co-founder Christopher Arps.
