Once again Charlie Dooley is following Bill Corrigan’s lead.  Bill Corrigan pushes for the County Assessor position to be elected,  after a couple of weeks, Charlie Dooley supports making the County Assessor position an elected position.

 Bill Corrigan suggests that while the country  and the county are struggling financially, it might be a good idea for county department heads not to have free cars and free gas cards.  It took some time for Charlie to understand the value but finally he agrees.

As  Jerry Berger reported back in April of 2010, Corrigan said that investment needed to be made in the St Louis County Crime Lab.  Once again Charlie Dooley follows Bill Corrigan’s lead and pushes for an investment in the crime lab. Apparently Charlie Dooley recognizes someone providing leadership for the county.
