After an exhausting morning (while on the taxpayer’s dime mind you) of filming political commercials for the fall campaign, Mr. Dooley’s image consultants had him change out of the suspenders and into a casual look of khaki pants and a dress shirt to film an apparent healthcare themed commercial.

With Missourians soundly rejecting Obamacare earlier this month, we sure hope Mr. Dooley is not reiterating his past strong support for President Obama’s budget busting healthcare scheme. At an astro turf rally at the IBEW Union hall’s parking lot last summer, Mr. Dooley labeled detractors of the President’s proposed plan as “haters.”

On another note, we really don’t understand the logic of the Dooley campaign posting these behind the scenes shots. We all know that the images we see in political commercials of a supposedly engaged politician conversing with a constituent are fake, but we perceive them as real because we don’t see the commercial being made. These pictures kind of defeats the purpose if you ask us.
