“Liberals Make Me Laugh”

Eric Hobbs

Depending on my mood, encountering liberals and their views can sometimes frustrate me, but more often than not, I find myself laughing.

The perfect example is found in the health care debate. On the eve of the Senate Finance Committee’s vote on the health care plan of Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., there was a Residence Halls Association forum on campus where each side presented its case.

What became clear from the debate is each side is set in its position. As blindly as many liberals have followed President Barack Obama, it should be no surprise such a faulty plan would find such strong support.

On Tuesday, the Senate Finance Committee voted 14-9 in favor of its version of health care reform. The mind-numbing thing isn’t how these Democrats (along with pseudo-Republican Olympia Snowe) voted for committee chairman Baucus’ plan, but rather that there is no bill for them to vote on.

Read that again. Fourteen senators voted in favor of concepts they assume would be put into a bill. Right now though, the only version of the bill available is a document called the chairman’s mark, which is a draft with Baucus’ revisions. Read more…

Wow. Olympia Smowe is a prime example of why I fled the GOP. These people just don’t get it.

    Tomas,

Just curious. Where did you go?

So because there is no “bill”, a hard copy of the document, we should forget health care reform?

Let me tell you pinheads something. I JUST came from the Drs. office and the pharmacy. I have a head/chest cold and feel miserable. My doctor’s office call (no lab work, no taking of blood pressure) was $90. My drugs cost $210. It’s all on my credit card.

I thank God I don’t have H1N1 and a hospital stay is absolutely out of the question.

I was laid off a year ago and lost my health coverage from work. I will start a new, part time job in 2 days for Christmas only and there is no health coverage offered.

Shut your pie holes about there not being a hard copy of a length bill for you pinheads to look at. I think members of our Senate are smart enough to know what they’re discussing. To imply that American’s don’t need a complete and absolute overhaul of the health kill system is ludicrous. You make me sicker than I am already.

Just once you selfish hateful people should be forced to walk in someone else’s shoes AND at the rate you can be canceled in this country you just may get that opportunity sooner than any of you know.

People who have health care should stop trying to kill the rest of us while claiming to be good, patriotic, freedom loving, christian, Americans. You are the true Nazis with a dash more selfishness.

And this argument about a hard copy of a bill is just juvenile BS.

If this is capitalism forget it.
