Cong. Carnahan’s Healthcare Forum: “Wild, Crazy, Transparently Implausible Lies”

The reviews are in on the snake oil healthcare forum Congressman Russ Carnahan held yesterday. Not good when you are an United States Congressman and your audience outright laughs at your comments:

“Apparently Democratic Members of Congress have a new strategy in their effort to reform health care: wild, crazy, transparently implausible lies.

“The Congressional Budget Office most recently, uh, came out and analyzed the current plan and said that it was not only deficit neutral, which is one of the important factors for congressional leaders, but also over that over ten years will create a $6 billion surplus.”

His remark was greeted with laughter, as Congressional Budget Office Director Douglas Elmendorf told Congress last week that, “on the contrary, the legislation significantly expands the federal responsibility for health care costs.” Read more…

Six billion dollar surplus! Is this man on crack?

As we move all healthcare under government control, perhaps we should bring all legal representation under government control, all skilled and unskilled workers under government control, all corporations under government control, all teachers and their ideas under government control. Perhaps we should bring all local and state government under one national government and have one supreme ruler. Then let’s see how many years the USA remains THE WORLD LEADER. Congressman Carnahan is a typical Democrat – all talk but no relevant or accurate facts or logic.
