While pro illegal immigrant & Dept. of Economic Development chief Linda Martinez and Jay Nixon play politics with the Tour of Missouri Bike race, minority construction contractors under this administration are apparently finding it very difficult to get work with the state transportation department:

“Statistics from MoDot show that there are 62 percent minority contractors and 38 percent women contractors certified with the department. Yet, minority firms get only 12 percent of the work and women-owned businesses get a whopping 88 percent.” Read more…

Unfortunately while Rome burns, Jay and Martinez would rather engage in a petty public squabble with Lt. Gov. Kinder over a bike race?
