Missourians Against Illegal Immigration: “Nixon Still Holding Out on Sunshine Request of Staff Emails”

March 18th, 2009 by MarkTwain · No Comments

Janet Renner of Missourians Against Illegal Immigration (MAII) sent another letter to Governor Jay Nixon’s deputy general counsel seeking the opportunity to review emails and documents from Nixon Chief of Staff John Watson regarding the controversial appointment of illegal immigration supporter Linda Martinez to head the Department of Economic Development.

“All we have asked to is to see exactly what was going on with Mr. John Watson during the time that he was promoting Ms. Martinez” said Janet Renner, the President and Founder of MAII. “As Chief of Staff to Governor Nixon, Watson met with various officials and called others. We have asked to review these public records and are now being told that we must pay for that privilege. In this week, Sunshine Law Week across America, we are asking Governor Nixon to grant us access to these public documents without charge.”

Martinez was confirmed to the DED position. Three Missouri Senators (Cunningham, Rupp, Lembke) publicly objected to Ms. Martinez and voted against her.

Isn’t “MAII” a front for racist Ed Martin?

I saw Ed for the first time without his robe and hood and he looks pretty fat and weak for a guy who talks so much trash.

When Koster goes after him to get back the money we paid his lawyers in the Scott Eckersly smear-job I hope he pushes for some jail time.

I’m sure Ed’s fellow prison inmates will have more than a few ideas on how Ed can work off a few of those extra lbs.
