On Missouri Matters:

Thanks John S.!

Fed up with the Stimulus Package? Want to do something about it??

Then join us for the Eagle 93.9’s Columbia Tea Party….your chance to tell Washington what you think.

When: Thursday, March 12th from 4 to 6PM

Where: Flat Branch Park at 4th & Cherry in Downtown Columbia

What: Gary Nolan will broadcast his show from the Gazebo with Tom Bradley. Several VIP guests/speakers will also attend. And if you’re fed up with recent actions in Washington in regards to the stimulus package, then please join us. You’re invited to bring a tea bag and a letter of protest, signs, banners, family, and friends. Tea and letters will be bundled and sent to Congress by the Eagle 93.9. (Note: we’ll throw a handful of tea into the water as a symbol, so please don’t throw teabags into the water.) More info

 Thanks Jonathan M.!

What: Meet up to form local and state action plan (Kansas City, Mo)

When: April 18, 2009

Where: As yet undetermined. If few enough, just a restaurant but if the response is high enough, we will secure a conference room. Either way, it will be in the Kansas City area.

Why: Conservative values, though alive, are fading into darkness. The biggest glory of the United States is the ability for each state to stand on it’s own feet. Real change, real restoration needs to be from the ground up in the form of local and state elections and movements. This meeting will help form an action plan. Please bring ideas!!!!

We would like to set this up throughout the state and will need people to take the initiative.

Out of staters are certainly welcome as ideas can likely be adjusted easily to fit their home state. More info
