Greene Countians Against Question 1 press release:

Question 1 Leader “Chip” Sheppard: “Vote Yes and Vote More Often”

Greene Countians Against Question 1 was forwarded an email from the email account of trial lawyer Joseph “Chip” Sheppard, a partner and Chairman of the Litigation Group at the Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown, P.C. law firm.  The email is unclear, rambling and nearly incoherent but may encourage voter fraud by asking people to vote more than once in the upcoming election.  It is Greene Countians Against Question 1’s fervent hope that this is not truly what Mr. Sheppard, a practicing lawyer, means to convey.  Mr. Sheppard might be well-served to clarify his intent.

However, because groups promoting the Missouri Plan like Sheppard’s have received money from George Soros who has made a practice of funding ACORN and other groups that have already been convicted of voter fraud, one wonders.  Mr. Sheppard’s email, sent from his law firm, says “vote more often” and increase the “quantity of your votes.”

In addition, Mr. Sheppard states that Greene Countians Against Question 1 has received money from Wall Street and Washington, D.C.  This is not true and he could easily confirm that all money contributed to Greene Countians Against Question 1 has come  from Missouri by checking MEC records.
