Obama Campaign Leaving Missouri for Minnesota?

September 13th, 2008 by mopns · No Comments

Reports are flying around the Missouri blogosphere that the Obama camp is pulling up stakes in Missouri and is heading for higher ground. Missouri Dems -especially contenders in down ticket races – are said to be furious with Obama for “doing what John Kerry did to us in ’04.”

The speculation among politicos is that Obama is packing up the phones and campaign workers and is sending them to Minnesota to help salvage his sagging campaign and the Al Franken for Senate train wreck. The “comedienne” is challenging first term senator Norm Coleman.

Minnesota – a Democrat leaning state with a Republican governor – is one state Obama CANNOT afford to lose this fall. If you check out these videos from the NRSC and the Coleman campaign, you’ll see why they have such a sense of urgency.
