The leaders of several black organizations want Kansas City Superintendent Anthony Amato placed on administrative leave pending investigation of a complaint that he called two school board members “bitches.”
And if the allegations by a former high-level staff member are true, they want Amato fired.
“He has forfeited the privilege to serve the children of this district,” said Clinton Adams, a critic of Amato and a longtime player in district politics.
Amato said he was “incensed” by the allegation, which he said “has no merit … no foundation.” Read more…
