Jeff Harris Schedules Blogger Conference Call

October 18th, 2007 by mopns · No Comments

The Harris Campaign strategy seems to include an important role for the internet. To borrow from the Kinder campaign, Rep. Harris has scheduled a conference call next week with Missouri bloggers. On a side note. A few readers have emailed us asking why we took down the Harris post from yesterday. The post included a video from Harris questioning where his Democrat rival Chris Koster was getting his campaign money. We took it down for two reasons. One, it simply slowed down our website. The video automatically starts playing when you come to the site. And two, the video is part of an ad campaign that is prominently featured on FiredUp Missouri. Not that we have anything against FiredUp, but FU is getting paid to show it, were not.

I’m working Jeff Harris’ campaign for Attorney General, and we are putting together a conference call with political bloggers from around the state. We would like to invite you to join us for this call, as well as encourage you to let any other bloggers know about this call.

We want to give you a chance to hear from Jeff about his campaign, to ask any questions that you have for him, and to share your thoughts on the campaign and how we can better help you cover this important race.

The call is scheduled for Tuesday, October 23, at 7 PM. Please email me at info@swingstatemedia.com to let us know if you think you can join us for the call.

We will follow up with the 1-800 call in number and the password for the conference call on Tuesday.

Thanks again for your interest in covering Missouri politics, and we look forward to talking with you next week.
