Former politicians Jack Danforth and Christine Todd Whitman are the scheduled “honored Speakers” for an upcoming St. Louis fundraiser for the Republican Leadership Council. The RLC, an organization that was “inspired by a drive to get back to the fundamentals of the Republican Party,”counts as its members such luminaries as former Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steele and former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge. The host committee includes George H. Walker, Jim & Janet Knight, Roy Pfautch, Paul Zemitzsch and other notables.

Is this the same Christie Todd Whitman, former head of the EPA who told hundreds of thousands of people who live and work in lower Manhattan that the air was “safe to breathe”. This contributed to a situation in which thousands of responders worked at Ground Zero for weeks and months without using proper protection.
It is clear, by past performance, that she will just make it up if she doesn’t know the answer. She is just like Senator Michael “Fibbins” Gibbons.
