The Associated Press should be embarrassed at using such a misleading headline to describe KC Parks Board member Frances Semler’s position on Illegal immigration. It’s funny how the word illegal never seems to make it into stories or headlines dealing with – illegal aliens.

The St. Louis Post Dispatch should be equally embarrased. This is the headline they used this week to describe the near fatal accident involving an illegal alien driver and an elderly couple dining at an outdoor cafe:

SUV Hits Clayton Eatery, Hurts 3

According to this headline, the real story should have been how a SUV – started and drove itself – into a crowd of people having lunch. And they wonder why the new media and talk radio has such a strong following!
