Above is exclusive video the Missouri Political News Service obtained yesterday showing the confusion and disorganization of Koster’s new campaign staff – just moments before his scheduled big announcement Wednesday in St. Louis. As has been widely reported already, St. Louis University High School officials denied Koster’s use of the campus for his press conference. Naturally, this embarrassment, along with his numbingly stupid, opportunistic switch to the Democratic Party, garnered the most attention in the mainstream media.
Noticeably absent in the reporting was Koster’s ardent defense of the judiciary, particularly judges salaries and their lack of a pay raise. Doesn’t sound to us like an issue the average Democratic constituent is writing Jefferson City about. Koster cites that in 2005, fifty thousand state employees received pay raises except for “about six hundred judges.”
It is rumored that his former consultant Jeff Roe is involved with the Adam Smith Foundation, a newly formed judiciary reform organization. Koster claims that the “unfair” and “heavy handed” tactics of his former party have “demeaned the branch of government that probably has the highest level of expertise and integrity of the three branches.”
