Quote(s) of the Day: Haywood on Calloway

January 12th, 2010 by mopns · No Comments

According to Rep. Haywood, Calloway told her in a phone conversation that “he didn’t like being a state representative.”

It looks like one of Rep. Calloway’s fellow colleagues and rival for the 14th district Senate Seat is not too pleased by him entering the race. Insiders tell us that Calloway promised Haywood he would not join the race, even going so far as to put his name on a recent fundraising letter for her. Boy, what a stab in the back!

Quotes taken from Facebook:

“We will have to teach Don an old lesson????????????????????”

This representative has really hurt the people of the 71st. When Don has served half of the term. I guess if he could get the Senate seat. After a year Don would want to be Gov.????????????????????”

“Don does not know you win in 10 by being some what honest. If everyone feels about the House of Representatives the same as Don. The state would have only one chamber. Maybe Don can rewrite the book.”
