New Steelman Website Asks: “Who is the Real Kenny Hulshof”

July 23rd, 2008 by mopns · No Comments

Hat tip: MPN Blog

MPN Blog reported early this morning that the Steelman camp has launched a new website called “Who is the real Kenny Hulshof.” The website is divided into four sections: Who’s Kenny, Wasteful Spending, Travel, and Prosecutorial Record. Here’s what is listed under the “travel” heading:

“While he may talk in Missouri about ethics, the real Kenny has taken numerous tax payer and lobbyist funded junkets while serving in Congress. In 2003, the real Kenny billed taxpayers for a junket to Cancun, Mexico with disgraced Congressman Mark Foley and Bill Jefferson. Records show that the government even paid for him to bring along a guest!”

MPN is also reporting that a video on Congressman Hulshof’s record is scheduled to be released at 2pm.

More attacks by Steelman…she should focus less on the mud and more on what she will do for Missouri.

I am glad someone will point out that phony’s record. I am so fed up with Washington. I consider myself a fiscal conservative and I am disgusted when Holshoff says that he is, what a joke.

    Berk must work for Hulshof.

Hulshof is running on the fact that he was a prosecutor. How is pointing out the facts about his record an attack?

Hulshof is running as a “fiscal conservative”. How is pointing out the way he spent taxpayer money an attack?

Kenny wants you to ignore his shameful past and focus on his promises for the future.

There’s a reason we don’t bond convicted felons, and it has nothing to do with their promises for the future.

Steelman has a duty to warn the voters about Kenny’s past. He sure isn’t going to do it himself.

I don’t like earmarks at all. but if we are going to talk about being “phony”, shouldn’t we also be talking about the rumors of Steelman being unfaithful numerous times?

Rumors are started by people like John Hancock n order to benefit their candidates. What the heck do RUMORS started by Steelman’s opponents have anything to do with her being a good governor?

And Jay, I assume that is what people call you, you wrote the exact same thing on KY3 blog, so stop trying to spread rumors. The Hulshof campaign makes me sick. All they do is complain that Sarah is attacking Kenny on his record, calling it negative even though she is only pointing out facts, and then Kenny and his team spreads rumors.
