Hancock also chided Nixon for not returning his over-limit contributions, even though the campaign sent out a statement signaling that the attorney general was making preparations to do so.

“It is classic Jay Nixon to put out a press release saying he’s going to do something, get news coverage for saying he’s going to do something and then immediately begin backtracking and back peddling and stonewalling,” Hancock said. “That is quintessentially the way he conducts his public life and this is no different from much of what he’s done in other areas.” Read more…
