KC PRIDE Members and Friends,

Please join us for the second of the summer’s great events at Sidekick's Saloon this Friday, June 29, starting at 8 p.m.
Sidekick's is helping PRIDE raise money for its goal of developing and supporting LGBT and LGBT-friendly candidates and
issues. The last fundraiser in May raised over $900 for the club. See several of many highlights from the that event at
our event photo page at http://www.kcpridedemocrats.com/photo_player_flash.html.

The performers, all of whom have agreed to split their tips with us, hit the stage at 9 p.m. Sidekick's has done a great
job helping the club, and we hope to keep doing right by them. Please join us for great food, drink, and fun.

We have also posted more great auction items available for bid at the Third Annual Wine and Cheese/Auction at Screenland
on July 21. We hope to raise $15,000 for the club at this year's auction. It's only possible with you.

Make your reservations early, and be sure to bring friends, family, and neighbors to join us. See the auction items and
 make reservations at http://www.kcpridedemocrats.com.

In the meantime, the Progressive Women's Coalition invites you to help take back the Missouri House on Wednesday from
5:30-7:30 p.m. at Californo's, 4124 Pennsylvania. The event will help raise money for local Democratic representatives
to the Missouri House. The evening's honorees include Kiki Curls, Craig Bland, Mike Talboy, Jenee Lowe, and Beth Lowe.
Contact any "Founding Diva" to be added to the guest list.  A complete list of FoundingDivas is available on our website,
 http://www.kcpwc.org.

Also, Keith and Sandy Querry are having a fundraiser for former mayor Kay Barnes on Wednesday. Barnes will have a tough
but very winnable fight in Missouri's Sixth U.S. House district against Sam Graves. Join Keith and Sandy Querry,
Wednesday, 5:30- 7 p.m. at their house, 1516 N. Charlton Road, Independence, MO, to help Kay make it to Washington.

I hope to see you at one or more of these events, and definitely on Friday.

Yours,

Patrick Dobson, VP Communications, KC PRIDE
