State Senate Candidiate Gina Loudon Fails to File Personal Financial Disclosure by Deadline

Gina Loudon – wife of midwifery fanatic Sen. John Loudon – failed to file her Personal Financial Disclosure with the Missouri Ethics Comission by yesterday’s deadline. Sen. Loudon, if you’ll remember, secretly inserted language in a bill last year to legalize midwifery. Loudon received the bane of many of his fellow Republican legislators with his deception:

Mrs. Loudon still has a few days to submit her PFD before getting kicked off the ballot, but there is a penalty for each day it is late in the interim.  A candidate is required to sign this form at the time of filing acknowledging that they understand they must file a personal financial disclosure report. We need to make sure there is never another Loudon in the Senate or in any other representative capacity of the people.

John Loudon has repeatedly shown he does not represent the voters but big business. He wants insurance companies to be able to use your credit report when determining your rates. It is insane. Credit score has nothing to do with your driving risk. What Loudon and the republicans have created is a debtors prison. Were once your credit score which 95% of them are inaccurate is damaged. you cant get a job because they can check your credit and you cant afford a car because they check your credit Thereby your stuck in a rut forever. Shame on John Loudon and we must see his wife is never allowed on the ballot and never elected to any office. For more information see the west county journal.

    Wow. I didn’t know such Loudon-haters existed.

I don’t commend Gina for missing a deadline, but honestly, a lot of candidates end up filing disclosures a day late or whatever. How many times have you made it to work late or not paid a bill on time? It’s never good, but life happens. Hopefully, she’s be more careful in the future.

Actually, truth be told, they have an awful lot of respect from people all across the state
because Senator Loudon has been one of the hardest working legislators in the Missouri Statehouse.
When others are out partying (or getting a DUI!), John and Gina Loudon have been busy working hard to improve the lives of people around the state. Senator Loudon passed the bill that led to the closure of the abortion clinic in Springfield, as well as more restriction (hence, less abortions) for other clinics. He helped with tort reform and worker’s comp reform so that doctors and business owners don’t leave Missouri and go somewhere else where rates are more sane.
He has a long record of being someone who works hard for what he believes in and doesn’t back off even if someone offers to buy him off for a million dollars.
I’d like to see a few more of him in office these days.
