Democrat Woes Continue; Social Networking Dominance Fading

September 10th, 2010 by mopns · No Comments

The political tides are really turning for the Democrats. “Hope and Change” has turned to “Spend and blame Bush;” their Congressional majorities are in serious danger. It has gotten so bad, that they are even losing their dominance of the Internet and political social networking. We’ve reported on the obvious decline of FiredUp Missouri since Roy Temple packed his bags for DC.Politico reported yesterday that “GOP outpaces Dems on Twitter.” Our own Claire McCaskill is a vociferous tweeter.

One could argue that with NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC,  and NPR and most major dailies carrying your water for you, you really don’t need to use alternative mediums to get your message out to the masses. But it’s nice to see Republican lawmakers and the burgeoning media winning with the 21st century technology.
