African American Newspaper Warns Robin Carnahan on “Drifting Too Far Away”

Missouri’s largest African American newspaper takes Carnahan to task for choosing to attend a fundraiser in D.C., instead of attending a defacto fundraiser on her behalf in St. Louis.

St. Louis American:

You may have heard that a Democrat is running to replace him [Kit Bond], Missouri Secretary of State Robin Carnahan (the largest statewide vote-getter in the most recent statewide election). You may have expected her to be there, basking in the president’s glow. Not so.

Carnahan’s camp said there was a scheduling conflict, but it sure looks like a calculated campaign decision to keep some distance from Obama and his association with incumbent Washington politics.

Just goes to show what a bunch of racist bigots the presidents supporters are. These are the Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Jeremiah Wright, Emaanuel Cleaver racists, who, if you disagree with them, they call you a racist. A true Conservative, much less a true Christian, would never support a party who wants abortion, stem cell research, or death panels. They put race first, which shows their hypocrisy. I am of the human race first and foremost and protect life.
