It’s Not Personal, We Only Want Accountability

A lot of people believe that the attacks we wage daily against politicians and journalists is personal. It’s really not. (well, maybe in one specific case it is, but we didn’t start it!) We don’t know these people, never met these people, and quite frankly, don’t care to ever meet these people. The corruption in politics (Democrat & Republican) and in the media these days is so pervasive, that it almost makes you want to throw up!

“Bagdad” Tony Messenger has two articles today. One on “money washing” and the other on “pay to play”. How in the world can a credible journalist write about “money washing” and not talk about the brazen scheme Chris Koster and Nixon crony Chuck Hatfield hatched up in ’08 to launder campaign money and circumvent the law??? Pathetic!

With the national media covering for Obama and the Missouri media doing the same for Nixon, it’s no wonder that Nixon has a 61% approval rating. We bet that if you asked the average Missourian about the E. Coli scandal and the other myriad of scandals involving the Nixon Administration, few except for political junkies and politicos would have any clue of what the hell you’re talking about. We have the governor’s staff lying to the public and not a peep from the editorial boards asking for their heads. But during the Scott Eckersley affair, we were inundated daily with articles containing cheap shots at Governor Blunt and Ed Martin. We bet Baghdad made a place on his mantel for the Pulitzer Prize he was expecting to receive.

We know you liberals live in your own isolated ivory towers and think that everyone else thinks like you do, but most people don’t. This is a center right country, as Obama’s repudiation in Massachusetts and his falling poll numbers clearly indicate. WE’RE ANGRY AND WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK!

You say it’s not personal then you immediately resort to name-calling. I’m glad you don’t take yourself seriously because none of us do either.
