Ummm, more like 1970 guys. The first African American was appointed to the UM Board of Curators in 1971. We applaud our friends over at FUM for taking off their partisan, rose colored glasses and seeing Jay’s disrespect for the African American community for what it really is. Keep up the good work!

“Look, we need to have an honest discussion here on Jay’s appointments.  Not only does he continue appoint White Male former Legislative has-beens or White Male Attorneys (take your pick), he seems not to know what the voter demographic looks like in Missouri that elected him.

Where is your diversity effort Jay, so me a highlighted report of key appointments within your term or do we have to wait till MLK day for your staff to get it’s head out…
