Real Time Updates From Speaker’s Jetton’s Press Conference

July 10th, 2008 by mopns · No Comments

Over on the right side of the site, we have real time updates from Rowdy Rod’s press conference.

Highlights:

“Here it is: after 2:00, and we’re still waiting for Rowdy Rod to show up. Did someone forget to tell him where the press confrence is?”

“awww. Did Kinder hurt Jetton’s feelings?”

“Again, Jetton’s pandering. Now Rowdy Rod’s doing advertising for his buddy Onder.”

“Q: is this just a ploy by David Barklage? Shorter Jetton: Yes, and this is sooo unfair.”

“Jetton wants the attacks to stop.”

“Aha! Jetton admits that his fundraising letters for Onder went out during session.”

“And now he’s advertising again! Come on reporters!”

“What have we learned today kids? Reporters can’t ask serious questions, and Rod Jetton can’t be taken seriously.”

Wow, scooter, you seem to have a lot of time on your hands.

I was just glad to see that Jetton didn’t break down sobbing when confronted.

And yet “Christina” still sat and read the entire post. Get a life.

Jetton’s point was a good one – Kinder et al are unable to point out any illegal behavior. Jetton stated he has complied with all rules and laws as they exist today and will do so in the future.

Kinder and Barklage and Luetekemeyer are playing politics pure and simple. It’s apparent that Luetkemeyer isnt doing so good so they need to use the Barklage/Roe negative campaign tactics. The fact Kinder has agreed to be a part of it is very disturbing.

Just because something is not illegal (at least not currently illegal) does not mean that it is not unethical.

As long as we keep electing politicians that are more concerned with what they can legally get away with, than what they should ethically avoid, we will continue to suffer from the fate we have chosen.

Since Jetton is relying on law, rather than ethics, I decided to look up a few things in my numerous legal dictionaries.

    INTEGRITY -is not listed

    ETHICAL -(see unethical)

UNETHICAL -not in accordance with the accepted practices of a profession.

The standard is set pretty low!
