Quote of the Day: “Barnes’ Early Problem: Men”

May 21st, 2008 by mopns · No Comments

Steve Kraske from the Prime Buzz give us our quote of the day today. While Kay Waldo Cronkite-Barnes licks her wounds after polls show her losing to Sam Graves by 10 points, Kraske adds insult to injury by succinctly stating why Cronkite-Barnes is losing: MEN. This is particularly ironic after Cronkite-Barnes recent fundraising excursion to San. Fran Sicko. Prime Buzz:

“Barnes’ early problem: men.

Among men, Graves leads by 19 points, SurveyUSA said. Among women, the two are tied.”

We find the words used by Prime Buzz to describe Graves’ lead a bit puzzling. They write that Graves has an “early lead over his Democratic challenger.” We wonder if the poll was reversed, and Cronkite-Barnes was leading, would her lead be considered an “early lead” too? Is Jay Nixon’s lead an early lead?
