Kay Barnes’ Plan B?

January 2nd, 2008 by mopns · No Comments

Just in case the Congress thing doesn’t work out, is Kay gearing up for plan B? Another example of liberals rewarding failure. Anyone remembering the Sprint Center debacle?

From Park University’s Center for National Engagement blog:

Park University’s Hauptmann School for Public Affairs (HSPA), in partnership with the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC), is proud to offer this outstanding opportunity to current Park M.P.A. students as well as community members.

Join Kay Barnes, FORMER KANSAS CITY MAYOR, and Jim Scott, ARCHITECT & URBAN PLANNER, for this exciting new certificate program in urban development. These instructors bring their expertise to the classes, examining urban development and planning with current regional and national projects! The course work will focus on recent development projects and will include discussions, case studies, and simulations. The program will culminate in the creation of a new redevelopment tool prototype.

Guests will include local and national speakers from the public, private and non-profit sectors. Read more…
