Students’ Work with Crayfish to be Recognized by Gov. Blunt

REEDS SPRING — What started out as a class project for Janna Elfrink’s Reeds Spring Intermediate School fifth-grade science class will be signed into law soon by Gov. Matt Blunt.

“We are hoping next week,” Elfrink said, but Blunt has until July to sign it.

House Bill 351, naming the crayfish Missouri’s state invertebrate, was started by Elfrink’s class. Read more…
