VoteVets.org, a military group opposed to the escalation in Iraq, has released a new ad that targets Rep. Jo Ann Emerson because of her recent “present” vote on the Iraq war funding bill.

The new half-million dollar ad series features three retired Generals, two of whom were commanders in Iraq. VoteVets says this is the first time in the history of war that former commanders are taking to the paid airwaves to challenge the President and oppose his war policy.
